Dr. Shawnrell Blackwell aka Dr. B. from Petersburg, VA and proud mom of an Airman! She received her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from VA Tech University, Master’s in Administration and Supervision and Bachelors in English at Virginia State University.

She has over 20 years of experience in educational leadership and consulting.Shawnrell left her public-school career in 2016 to start her outpatient counseling practice to help people heal their mind, body, and spirit. 

She is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), Life Coach, and nationally certified fitness instructor who is certified in holistic practices such as Mindfulness, Reiki, and Yoni Steaming.  She is blessed to be able to infuse her career and hobbies such as dance, travel, and spoken word. During her free time, she likes to binge watch movies and relax. Shawnrell’s favorite vacation spots are anywhere with warm weather, water, and live music!
