No Refund Policy
The Company does not issue refunds for any reason. However, Company will only provide a travel credit if the trip is suspended by Company. Any travel credit must be used within 12 months from the date the credit is issued.
 
Travel Protection
The Company requires all Travelers to purchase “Cancel for any Reason” travel protection (“protection”). Cancel for any Reason travel protection must be purchased within 72 hours of booking. Traveler must provide proof of Cancel for any Reason travel protection via email at info@melaninglobe.com. It is Traveler’s responsibility to thoroughly review the terms and conditions of the Cancel for any Reason travel protection Traveler purchases. Company is not responsible for Traveler’s selection of Cancel for any Reason travel protection. In the event that Traveler seeks to state a claim pursuant to Traveler’s Cancel for any Reason travel protection policy, Traveler will file a claim with the Company that issued the policy. Traveler must indicate any intent to cancel via the Traveler’s Secured Client Portal accessible via Company’s website.
 
Contacting Airlines Directly
We recommend that airline requests on group air reservations are managed by Gate 1 on your behalf. Group air reservations are often subject to terms which differ from published airfares. Travelers may receive contradictory information from airline representatives who are not familiar with the group booking terms. Please submit any special requests along with passenger reservations to ensure Melanin Globe has time to communicate them on your behalf to the airlines. Keep in mind, special requests are always a request and never a guarantee.
 
Airlines
Airline schedules and flights are subject to change without notice. Melanin Globel is not responsible for penalties incurred for tickets, international or domestic, not issued by Melanin Globe due to schedule and/or flight changes. If full payment is not received, seats will be canceled by the airline and may not be available to be rebooked on the same flights or at the same airfare.
 
Seat Assignments
Seats will be requested on your behalf. Every airline has different group seating policies. Any name change may result in that seat being revoked by the carrier. Bulkhead and exit row seats are considered at airport check-in only. Domestic flights are blocked for group seat requests. Seats are always a request and never a guarantee. Your final seating will be determined by the airlines.
