The impact of coronavirus.

As the world continues to opens up, we're excited for you to get back outside and experience new countries with new people. As a travel brand, we also recognize the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is still a major risk,  and some things are out of both our control and yours. We want your future travels to always be safe and, in the unfortunate event that your trip needs to be cancelled, we are committed to supporting you the best we can. 

 

If you were booked on a trip that we had to cancel due to Force Majeure (e.g. due to the COVID-19 pandemic), we have automatically applied your credit of monies paid to Melanin Globe, as per our Booking Conditions, at the time you booked your trip. All credits must be applied by December 31, 2022 to a trip within the current year, or credits will not remain of value.

This global health crisis has impacted everyone enormously, so we want to make sure your future travel plans are safe and reassure you that we are committed to supporting our travelers in the best way that we can.   

TRIP CANCELLATIONS 

Travelers are now required to purchase cancel for any reason trip protection. If you make a reservation for any future trips, and we have had to cancel due to the pandemic, Melanin Globe will not reimburse travelers, by offering refunds. This excludes additional flights or insurance, as they will have their own booking conditions.  

Trips due to depart from May 2022 and onwards 

These trips are currently scheduled to depart as planned. We are monitoring the situation closely and will notify you at least one month before your scheduled departure date (via email) if your trip is canceled or changed.
